Rigging Gear Inspector Level III Course Added to ITI Washington Training Center in July

In response to demand, ITI is adding a second Rigging Gear Inspector Level III Course to the schedule for the Washington Training Center. The open enrollment course is slated for July 18-20, and limited openings are still available. Course information is as follows:

Rigging Gear Inspector Level III

2.4 CEU | 3 Days | $1,495

The Rigging Gear Inspector Level III Course is designed for those who have attained a Level II Rigging Gear Inspector Qualification from ITI. The course covers product application and troubleshooting, field analysis, field inspection processes, fabrication and quality control, wear and abuse prevention, and problem-solving techniques for wire rope, wire rope slings, synthetic web and round slings, chain slings, rigging hardware and below-the-hook lifting devices.

Trapper Wyman, President of Mansfield Crane Service recently became the second person to complete the ASME approved Fundamentals of Rigging Engineering Program in its entirety. Mr. Wyman had the following to say about his accomplishment.

"Completing the Fundamentals of Rigging Engineering Program has considerably enhanced my understanding of the dynamics in lifting, rigging, and transporting of loads. I've gained a broad sense of all the options available to accomplish a project. I am using these skills in planning work and creating lift plans that exceed customer expectations."
