ITI to Host NCCCO Commissioners for Fall Meeting 2016

Over 60 NCCCO Commissioners, committee members, and guest are expected to attend the 41st Biannual NCCCO Commissioner Meeting hosted at Industrial Training International's Woodland, Washington Headquarters and Training Center, Oct. 18-21.NCCCO_Meeting_2015.jpg

The week-long event will include the full Commissioner's meeting, which will be highlighted by updates to the rule making process for several pending OSHA regulations (including crane operator qualification and technical amendments), reports on recent action items from various NCCCO Committees, and an update from the NCCCO Board of Directors.

Virtual Reality Beta Program Accepting Applications

Woodland, Washington – Industrial Training International (iti.com), is now accepting applications for its Virtual Reality (VR) Mobile Crane Simulator Beta Program. The simulator is on target for a March 2017 release date, with the official unveiling at CONEXPO, in Las Vegas. Beta Program applicants have the opportunity to gain immediate access to the Simulator through the development process and will be in the reservation queue when the final version is ready in early 2017.

Beta Program applicants will receive the hardware and software needed to run all available course simulations including:

  • A high-powered laptop
  • An Oculus Rift Headset
  • Xbox Controller
  • Simulation Library Package

"We've tried to answer customer requests with this initiative. This Program will allow interested customers to access our simulator throughout the development process prior to receiving their final crane controls and the full library of courses," commented E-Learning Specialist and ITI VR Project Manager, Caleb Steinborn.

Mr. Brent leads the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO), by upholding the organization's mission to develop effective performance standards for those who work in and around cranes; provide fair, valid, and reliable assessments of their knowledge and skill; and act as an authoritative industry resource of related information. 

Graham has been with NCCCO for more than 20 years in which time he has lead the charge to establish NCCCO as the gold standard of national certification. Mr. Brent volunteers his time to the industry as an Alternate Member of the ASME B30 Committee
