Top Selling Book "Rigging Engineering Basics" 2nd Edition Released by Keith Anderson

Top Selling Rigging Engineering Basics 2nd Edition Released by Keith Anderson

Since its publication in February of 2014, Rigging Engineering Basics has been and continues to be, a must read for all involved in rigging and lift planning activities. The comprehensive text for rigging engineers, lift planners, advanced riggers, field engineers, site supervisors, and the like is J. Keith Anderson’s (Chief Rigging Engineer, Bechtel) contribution to the rigging and hoisting industry. Intended to inform key employees planning rigging operations and point them in the direction of best practices, bring to light pitfalls and how to avoid them, and offer instruction of certain basic rigging engineering tasks, the text stands as so influential that it is the foundation and inspiration for the world’s only rigging engineering training program, Fundamentals of Rigging Engineering. The program consists of 12 courses and is approved for continuing education units (CEUs) by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).

A newly revised and expanded 2nd edition of Rigging Engineering Basics is now available from the ITI Bookstore. The 2nd edition features diagram and graphical updates, and expands on important concepts including vectors in telecoms applications, splitting and combining loads with spreaders and lift beams, and an oversight of Self-Propelled Modular Transporters (SPMTs). Rigging Engineering Basics is 466 pages and features full color images and examples.
