Virtual Reality Beta Program Accepting Applications

Woodland, Washington – October 4, 2016 – Industrial Training International (iti.com), is now accepting applications for its Virtual Reality (VR) Mobile Crane Simulator Beta Program. The simulator is on target for a March 2017 release date, with the official unveiling at CONEXPO (http://conexpoconagg.com/), in Las Vegas. Beta Program applicants have the opportunity to gain immediate access to the Simulator through the development process and will be in the reservation queue when the final version is ready in early 2017.

Beta Program applicants will receive the hardware and software needed to run all available course simulations including:

  • A high-powered laptop
  • An Oculus Rift Headset
  • Xbox Controller
  • Simulation Library Package

"We've tried to answer customer requests with this initiative. This Program will allow interested customers to access our simulator throughout the development process prior to receiving their final crane controls and the full library of courses," commented E-Learning Specialist and ITI VR Project Manager, Caleb Steinborn.

TPC Training Systems to Distribute ITI Courses through Partnership

TPC Training Systems (www.tpctraining.com) and Industrial Training International (www.iti.com) have announced a course distribution partnership in which TPC will distribute ITI's e-learning course libraries and training center courses, and ITI will distribute TPC's e-learning course libraries.

TPC Training Systems offers a complete portfolio of industrial skills with over 1,000 course hours of maintenance and industrial safety topics. Training titles range from fundamentals skills to job-specific titles like welding, robotics, maintenance management, and now rigging. Mike has been with Alaska Rubber since 1994. He has held many positions in the company, and currently oversees all corporate operations as the Chief Operating Officer. During his tenure, Alaska Rubber has grown to nine locations in Alaska and Washington State. 

Mike played a crucial role in the realization of the ITI Anchorage, Alaska Training Center, which is hosting a Rigging Gear Inspector I/II and Intermediate Rigging Course this week.
