3 World-Leading Rigging Engineers to Train at Edmonton Workshop

Industrial Training International Canada (iti.com), Canada's leader in crane, rigging, and lifting educational services, is hosting its Advanced Rigging & Lifting Workshop in Edmonton, June 17-19, 2014.  Three of the world's top engineers in rigging and lifting will be conducting training sessions at the event:

  • Keith Anderson is the author of Rigging Engineering Basics and
    currently serves Bechtel as their Chief Rigging Engineer. Mr. Anderson has held senior engineering positions with Mammoet and Sarens in his 30+ year career.
  • Marco van Daal is the author of The Art of Heavy Transport and currently operates his own business, The Works International. Mr van Daal is one of the world's foremost experts in heavy transport and hydraulic platform trailers; he has held senior engineering positions with Mammoet and Fagioli.
  • Jim Yates is the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Technical Services for Barnhart Crane & Rigging. Mr. Yates oversees a team of 60+ engineers that solve some of the most complex lifting and component rigging challenges in the world; while with BCR, Mr. Yates and his team has been awarded Rigging Job of the Year awards over 25 times by the SC&RA.
Lifting leaders from these organizations are participating to date: Imperial Oil, Canadian Natural Resources Ltd., JV Driver, Bechtel, Fluor, PCL, ALE, SRS Industrial, and several others.
