New Roles, New Hires at ITI for 2015

Industrial Training International (iti.com), a world leader in crane, rigging, and lifting educational services, has again added to its team this year, both in terms of new hires and promotions within the organization.
The company has experienced an average annual growth rate of 15% since 2008 - both the cause and effect of that growth have been its great people.

Zack Parnell – President, Woodland, Washington

Formerly the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, as of January 1, 2015, Zack will step into the role of President of ITI.  Zack will continue to work closely with each operational team, including Finance, Marketing, Training Solutions, Logistics, and Technical Services.

Zack has served ITI professionally since 2009, but has held many roles within the organization on a part-time basis for more than 20 years. As President, he will rely on professional experience in business development, marketing, and foreign market entry.

Mike Parnell – Technical Director, Woodland, Washington

Although he is stepping down from his duties as the President of ITI, Mike will continue to be the driving force behind the company’s technical acumen. Training and Field Services Management will continue to report to Mike as the responsible party for curriculum development, new client engagement, and all technical services.

Mike and Darlene Parnell founded Wire Rope & Rigging Consultants (WRRC) in 1986. In 1995, WRRC merged with two other entities, Crane & Equipment Training (CET) and Training & Inspection Resource Center (TRIC) to become Industrial Training International, Inc.

Since 1986, Mike has been responsible for the creation of over 30 crane, rigging, lift planning, and heavy equipment courses. He has served the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) as a past vice chair of the B30 Committee (Cranes and Rigging).  He continues to serve ASME as the current chair of the P30.1 Committee (Lift Planning).

John “Red” Bartlett – Instructor, Bowerbank, Maine

John joins the ITI technical staff with over 35 years experience in crane and equipment operations and inspection, rigging application, rigging gear inspection, and project management. He is certified as a Class A Crane Operator by the State of New York Department of Labor, as well as a Licensed Hoisting Engineer via the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Safety.

Jennifer Rilatos – Client Services Associate, Woodland, Washington

New to the ITI logistics team as of December 2014, Jennifer joins the organization with experience in office administration, marketing, and community relations. As a Client Services Associate, Jennifer ensures that all training logistics concerning ITI’s training courses are fulfilled. Her responsibilities include documenting, packing and shipping training material for programs, recording, and tracking and maintaining database information.

Lucas Wiseman – Marketing Intern, Woodland, Washington

Lucas joins ITI as an Intern in the marketing department. During his time with the organization, Lucas will focus on a variety of tasks, including producing ITI client case studies. He joins ITI from Washington State University – Vancouver, and will graduate in the spring of 2015 with a major in Digital Technology and Culture and minors in Communications and English.
