ITI Employee Invited to 2010 National Boy Scouts of America Jamboree

Mike Parnell, President of ITI, was invited to volunteer at the 2010 National BSA Jamboree in Virginia. Eagle Scout, Mr. Parnell, is a Jamboree staff member working alongside 6,300 others serving over 40,000 Scouts and Scouters from all over the US and the world.

The Jamboree, which celebrates 100 years of Scouting, runs until August 4th and offers skills and educational activities for all attendees.

Parnell has been in Scouting since 1963, and has served 10 years as a summer camp staff member at Camp Geiger in St. Joseph, Missouri. As a pioneering merit badge instructor and as a trainer/consultant in the crane and rigging industry, Parnell has been able to use his skills to "rig" and improvise a number of site projects.

Mr. Parnell is never shy when it comes to repeating the Scouts motto: "Be Prepared".describe the image
