Unlocking Success with Just-in-Time Learning: A Guide to Efficient Skill Acquisition for Crane & Rigging Professionals

Just-in-time Learning is a method of training, where employees are provided with targeted training that addresses a specific task they are about to perform. In these instances, the impending task provides a motivation for engagement in the instruction, as well as a means of immediately putting into practice what has just been learned.

Long before the term was created, workers who didn’t know how to do a vital task would halt operations to ask a knowledgeable co-worker for guidance, consult a procedure manual or manufacturer information, or perhaps learn the hard way via some good old-fashioned trial and error (never a good idea with cranes and rigging!).
