Who Should Enroll

This course is ideal for overhead crane operators preparing for NCCCO certification, safety professionals involved in crane operations, and employers looking to upskill their workforce in accordance with national standards.

Optional Written Exam

Written and Practical Exams are offered (additional fees apply) on days 2 and 3, following the 1-day prep course at ITI Training Centers.

Instructor-Led Format

Led by experienced trainers, this course provides direct feedback and clarification on difficult topics. It is offered at ITI Training Centers and can also be delivered at customer locations upon request. The curriculum supports preparation for the NCCCO certification written exam and includes materials for continued study.

PPE Information

The following PPE is required for all hands-on sessions at ITI Training Centers:

  • OSHA-approved hard hat*
  • Eye protection*
  • Long pants with no holes or tears
  • Low-heeled work boots or work shoes
  • Full-fingered work gloves*
  • OSHA-approved safety vest*

*ITI Training Centers will make these PPE items available for all enrolled students. Students are responsible for their own appropriate garments and footwear.

Continuing Education Units

Each student that completes the 1-day course will receive 0.8 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), as well as a certificate of completion.
