This course equips both new and experienced operators with the knowledge and skills required to safely and efficiently operate telehandlers and achieve their NCCCO certification.

NCCCO Telehandler Operator Written Exams, 1 Day

The NCCCO Telehandler Operator Written Exam session includes official NCCCO testing. The exam consists of 70 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 60 minutes. The curriculum thoroughly covers the four key testing domains: Site Information & Safety, Operations, Use of Load Charts, and General Technical Knowledge. Candidates will learn to confidently calculate load capacities, understand equipment functions, and identify workplace hazards to ensure full compliance with safety standards.

NCCCO Telehandler Operator Practical Exams, Fixed-Cab Only, 1 Day

The NCCCO Telehandler Operator Practical Exam session provides hands-on evaluation of an operator's ability to safely maneuver and control a fixed-cab telehandler. Candidates are tested on either fixed or rotating telehandlers through a series of tasks, including pre-operational inspections, precise load placement, navigating obstacle courses (such as zigzag corridors), and responding to hand signals. This evaluation ensures operators possess the real-world skills required to operate telehandlers safely and efficiently on the job site.

The NCCCO Telehandler Practice Day provides operators with dedicated, hands-on time to hone their skills prior to the official practical exam. Candidates will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the equipment and practice navigating the specific tasks required for certification, such as zigzag corridors and precise load placements.
