On June 7, 2012, the ITI Showcase Webinar Series hosted Guest Speaker Jim Yates, Senior Vice President of Engineering & Technical Services from Barnhart Crane & Rigging to present "Heavy Intermodal Lift & Transport - Engineering Considerations".
305 people registered for the event from over 20 countries around the world.
Mr. Yates presentation identified the need and application of engineering, lift planning, and method statements. As well, he summarized several considerations companies must be aware of: environmental, ship & dock, load handling equipment, rigging arrangements, and transporting on barge, ship, and rail.
