Mr. Anderson was born in Newcastle, UK and graduated in 1975 with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Lanchester Polytechnic Coventry. After a period designing high pressure hydraulic braking system components, in 1979 he joined the world of heavy lifting as an engineer at Kramo Montage, engineering and overseeing specialty lifting and skidding applications using hydraulic gripper type climbing jacks.

Over the next 17 years, many complex, heavy and ground breaking lifts were conducted, new greater capacity lift systems were developed and Keith rose to Chief Engineer. From 1991 to 1996, Keith was Chief Engineer for Van Seumeren UK (now Mammoet UK), responsible for engineering and proposal preparation for heavy lift and specialist transport operations. After a two-year spell managing Sarens heavy road haulage company in the UK, in 1998, Keith rejoined Van Seumeren working as Contracts Manager in Utrecht, Netherlands.

In 2000, he joined Bechtel as Senior Rigging Engineer based in London, transitioning to the US in 2001 as Rigging Manager/Chief Rigging Engineer for Bechtel Equipment Operations, the position he currently holds. Keith currently resides in Louisville, Kentucky.
