ITI is proud to support the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Foundation and their mission to serve the crane, rigging, and specialized transport industry through workforce development, educational assistance, research, and educational initiatives.
We would like to congratulate this year's recipient of a 100 percent tuition credit for a four-day, Master Rigger course, John Canty of Ontario, Canada. John will attend one of our upcoming courses at our Houston, Texas training center. The ITI Master Rigger Course is designed for participants that have had some exposure (2-10 years) to crane and rigging operations. The course exposes participants to a variety of equipment and applications which include multiple crane lifts, load turning, load drifting with chain hoists, jacking and rolling using mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, incline planes and managing the center-of-gravity in all three axes. John shared that he plans to use his experience with hydraulic press installation to start his own rigging company. What he'll be learning in the Master Rigger course - complete with Master Rigger Certification - will help provide him the opportunity to further his business with confidence.
