Nobles to Distribute ITI (USA) VR Crane Simulation System in Australia and New Zealand

Adelaide, Australia, 3 October, 2017: A. Noble & Son Ltd. (Nobles), Australia’s leading specialist provider of lifting & rigging equipment and services and Industrial Training International (ITI), makers of the industry’s premier crane training Virtual Reality (VR) simulation platform, today announced an international distribution agreement. Under the terms of the relationship, Nobles will receive exclusive distribution rights to the Australian and New Zealand markets.

The ITI crane training VR simulator (www.iti.com/vr) is used in conjunction with traditional instruction and competency assessment programs and features hundreds of training and testing scenarios for crane operators of all skill levels. Activities include pre-lift inspections, basic and advanced lifting operations, hand signals and voice commands, catastrophic equipment failure, extreme environmental conditions, obstacle courses and operator assessments. Cranes include real-world mobile, tower and overhead models developed in partnership with Broderson Manufacturing, Liebherr, Link-Belt, Tadano, Terex and others.  ITI’s “simulation as a service” model allows VR system subscribers to access new crane types, scenarios, and features on a continual basis.

Guy Roberts, Managing Director, Nobles said, “Nobles is always on the look-out for the latest lifting and rigging products and services to bring to our customers in Australia.  The ITI VR crane simulation system represents a great leap forward in terms of quality and value over previous generations of flat-screen simulators and has already received an overwhelmingly positive reception from operators that have experienced it first-hand.  We are delighted to become ITI’s exclusive distributor in Australia and New Zealand and look forward to demonstrating the VR crane simulator to our customers over the coming months”

“We are honored to be working with A. Noble & Son,” said Zack Parnell, president and CEO of ITI. “The company’s 100-year history of customer success in Australia is rarely found anywhere in the world. We are thrilled to be bringing the latest technology in workforce development with Nobles to Australia.”

Nobles and ITI are officially launching the VR crane simulator in Australia at the Crane Industry Council of Australia (CICA) annual conference in Adelaide on 19-21 October.  Attendees of the conference will be amongst the first in Australia to experience the future of crane operator training and competency assessment, with multiple units on the exhibition floor available for demonstrations.  In addition, Nobles and ITI will be conducting a VR simulator demonstration roadshow from 16-23 October across its Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane branches.  For further details and to secure your individual demonstration time slot please visit: www.iti.com/australia
