Mr. Means is a world-leading expert on the manufacturing and use of wire rope. Spanning 5 decades, Mr. Means served WireCo World Group, then Wire Rope Corporation of America, as their head engineer for wire rope - the company is currently the world's largest manufacturer of wire rope.  

Mr. Means vast experience and expertise helped elect him to the Chairman position of the ASME B30 Main Committee from 2001 to 2004. Mr. Means is on a short-list of subject-matter experts consistently retained for wire rope and rigging-related incidents for expert witness testimony and accident investigations.
