ITI Honolulu Training Center A Perfect "10"

Honolulu Location is 10th Training Center in North America

Lawson & Associates, Inc., and Industrial Training International (ITI), have reached an agreement to partner by offering ITI Courses at the Building Association of Hawaii's state-of-the-art Construction Training Center (CTC) of the Pacific in Waipahu, Hawaii on the island of Oahu.

Lawson and ITI share an eternal commitment to workplace safety that applies to every level of the job at hand. This shared commitment provides the basis of the new partnership, and was essential to uncovering the growing need for additional crane, rigging, and load handling training options in Hawaii and the Pacific as a whole.

ITI offerings at CTC of the Pacific will commence in the first quarter of 2019, are open to all industries, and will include:

In addition to its existing nine training centers in the United States and Canada, the Honolulu location allows ITI to better serve its numerous customers in Hawaii and the South Pacific with the high-impact, hands-on approach that has become synonymous with ITI curriculum over the past 35 years.

ITI Director of Training Centers, Justin Meade, who has overseen the process of opening three new locations, could not be happier with the possibilities made possible by the newest training center location. "We are excited to offer a local solution for many of our fantastic customers who call Hawaii their home, as well a more convenient option for our customers from Asia and the South Pacific. Working with partners who share the mission and values of ITI is always a great experience for us, and results in the best possible experience for our students as well. Tracy Lawson and BIA were integral in making the Hawaii Training Center come to fruition, as all parties rallied around the common goal of doing our part to improve safety in Hawaii, and ultimately save lives."

The CTC facility is a one-stop, comprehensive training and educational resource center that serves as BIA Hawaii's workforce development arm. In addition to hosting ITI Courses, CTC provides academic and vocational training, career counseling, job awareness, and related support services with the intention of addressing critical labor shortages in the rapidly expanding construction industry. CTC features six modern classrooms, as well as a larger "workshop" room that all have the amenities needed to create the ideal learning environment. The CTC of the Pacific's mission is to "provide education and training that supports a sustainable construction workforce in Hawaii through career development and life-long learning programs."
