Lifting Gear Hire is the largest organization in North America devoted exclusively to the provision of lifting and moving equipment for rent. Lifting Gear Hire maintains the most comprehensive inventory of hoisting, rigging, jacking, pulling, material handling, and safety equipment. Whether you need to rent a hoist for periodic tasks where expertise has to be matched with availability of the correct equipment, in sufficient quantity, Lifting Gear Hire's rental equipment is maintained in excellent condition, tested for safety, and always ready for immediate rental.
ITI has partnered with Lifting Gear Hire to bring world-class, hands-on rigging training to Chicago. Located at Lifting Gear Hire National Headquarters, the ITI Chicago Training Center now hosts open enrollment courses featuring world class crane & rigging instruction.
November 12 - 14, Lifting Gear Hire will be hosting an ITI Rigging Gear Inspector course. Participants learn the removal criteria for wire rope, wire rope slings, synthetic web and round slings, chain slings, rigging hardware and below-the-hook lifting devices according to the applicable federal and provincial regulations as well as ASME standards. Written exams are administered and participants perform hands-on inspections of used and damaged gear to test their knowledge of the criteria learned.
