VR Mobile Crane Simulator Release Notes - 1.1.040

Caring is sharing, and in this case, ITI is sharing with you the first of many upgrades to our Virtual Reality Mobile Crane Simulator. Update 1.1.040 is the first update commercially available, and addresses sever minor adjustments and improvements. To those who subscribe to the ITI VR Simulations Library, this is the first of many future updates to what will be ever evolving content within the simulator. 

ITI VR is kicking off "phase two" of development with the goal of achieving a very ambitious road map. Update 1.1.040 addresses the following minor bugs and tuning fixes:

  • Fixed possibility of a command loop on high prevision lifts
  • Fixed stacking issue where touching blocks were not counted
  • Fixed possibility of tagline direction rapidly changing
  • Fixed minor voice over audio clips
  • Improved signal person behavior during fog event
  • Improved signal person response for unloaded blocks
  • Improved signal person radio commands
  • Improved signal person paths and tolerances
  • Improved signal person navigation on high prevision lifts
  • Improved signal person position during the NCCCO exam scenarios
  • Improved physics during crane tip over
  • Improved physics when rigging is connected mid-scenario
  • Improved throttle behavior when using foot pedal
  • Improved leveling interface
  • Improved bounce tolerance when counting ground collisions in corridor scenarios
  • Added time of day configuration
  • Miscellaneous small fixes and improvements
