ITI Trainers Participate in NCCCO Practical Examiner Workshop

ITI Trainers Participate in NCCCO Practical Examiner Workshop

December 15-19, 2014 in Woodland, WA

The National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) conducted a Signalperson, Rigger I and Rigger II Practical Examiner Workshop in Woodland, Washington at the corporate headquarters of Industrial Training International (ITI). Greg Peters, NCCCO Accredited Practical Examiner Instructor, presented a Workshop that trained ITI Instructors on the process and procedures of NCCCO practical exams.

ITI Instructors began the process to become a NCCCO accredited Practical Examiner back in November, by passing the written and practical exams for the Signalperson, Rigger I and Rigger II. Instructors have also been approved by NCCCO to attend the Examiner Workshop, by being recognized as professionals in their field. After completion of the Workshop, ITI Instructors are also scheduled to undergo an audit process, requiring each instructor to conduct an exam under the close supervision of an NCCCO Examiner Instructor. Once the audit is complete, the ITI Instructors will  be provided a letter of accreditation from NCCCO with the Practical Examiner status.

ITI Training Centers in Woodland, Washington and Memphis, Tennessee are now accredited as NCCCO Testing Sites. This allows ITI to offer NCCCO exams at both facilities in open enrollment programs. ITI is also able to conduct NCCCO exams on-site. The following NCCCO programs are currently available: Mobile Crane Operator Certification, Boom Truck Operator Certification, Digger Derrick Operator Certification, Overhead Crane Operator Certification, Signalperson Certification, Rigger I Certification and Rigger II Certification.
